We’re a blog now.

If you’ve visited this URL in the past, you may have noticed the site has changed a bit. For those of you who haven’t, the previous site was, frankly, a bit of a mess. We bit off more than we could chew, and none of us had the time or inclination to maintain it. Hence, we’re a WordPress blog now! But that’s ok – the quality and frequency of updates should increase, as we can devote more time to writing and less to web-administrivia. Besides, Hackaday is a wordpress blog. If you’re reading this and you aren’t familiar with Hackaday, then you’d probably like to be, so check it out.

So, let’s get to making some robots! There’s a lot happening with quadcopters at the moment; the darn things practically seem to be breeding in the ICT lab. Also in the oven are a couple of self-balancing robots, and we’re constantly thinking up new projects to show off what we do. We sit at the crossroads between mechanical, electrical and software engineering – if you have a project in that vein that you’d like a hand with, or even just like to show off, then you should definitely pop in and say howdy sometime. Even (especially!) if you don’t, but that sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, then we’d love to hear from you. Details/locations can be found on the “about” page above.

Happy Building!
