If you’ve visited this URL in the past, you may have noticed the site has changed a bit. For those of you who haven’t, the previous site was, frankly, a bit of a mess. We bit off more than we could chew, and none of us had the time or inclination to maintain it. Hence, we’re a WordPress blog now! But that’s ok – the quality and frequency of updates should increase, as we can devote more time to writing and less to web-administrivia. Besides, Hackaday is a wordpress blog. If you’re reading this and you aren’t familiar with Hackaday, then you’d probably like to be, so check it out.
So, let’s get to making some robots! There’s a lot happening with quadcopters at the moment; the darn things practically seem to be breeding in the ICT lab. Also in the oven are a couple of self-balancing robots, and we’re constantly thinking up new projects to show off what we do. We sit at the crossroads between mechanical, electrical and software engineering – if you have a project in that vein that you’d like a hand with, or even just like to show off, then you should definitely pop in and say howdy sometime.
